New York Fashion Week - Jason Wu Fall 2012 Collection

Jason Wu revealed his Chinese inspired fall collection at his show for New York Fashion Week.  Wu has been on the rise since First Lady, Michelle Obama wore his gown on inauguration night in 2008.  Fresh from his sold out Target collection, Wu delivers a fall collection full of military and Hollywood glamour inspired pieces. The line features Mao jackets with black lace overlay, capes, form fitting silhouettes, fur accents, and leather. Wu also includes clutches with jewel details from his new bag line and studded pumps from shoe collection.  With his brand expansion to accessories and jewelry, Wu has carved a name for himself in the world of fashion.

2012 SAG Awards Best Dressed

The SAG awards presented a wide array of fashion this year.  From plunging necklines to bold colors, the SAG awards red carpet had it all.  The best dressed of the evening was Viola Davis in Marchesa.  Her gold-embellished strapless gown, makeup and minimal accessories made for a flawless and elegant look.  Jayma Mays dazzled in a sparkling Reem Acra gown from the Fall 2011 collection.  She finished her look with Brian Atwood lace shoes and Neil Lane jewels. Jayma definitely brought glitz and glamour to the red carpet. Octavia Spencer was a winner at the SAG awards in more ways than one with her striking chiffon opal grey Tadashi gown. Although she had to wear three pairs of spanx to pull this look off, she looked amazing. The final favorite for the night was Sofia Vergara in Marchesa.  She donned a silk fuchsia strapless form fitting gown with draping that was stunning.
